HELL ON WHEELS
The skating rink has long been considered a menace to public morals. Its history has been one of degradation. Many happy homes have been broken up as a direct cause of its evil influence.
Like a great many other evils, it apparently is harmless, but beneath the surface is an immoral tide which drags young helpless girls into the ocean of destruction, never to return to their fond parents, whose lives have been blighted and many of whom now occupy untimely graves.
That any professing Christian should allow himself to be connected with such an institution, either financially or otherwise, is beyond comprehension. Clean, healthy sport should be encouraged, but the skating rink cannot be placed in that class.
