Paper Devoid of Crime
It Will Be Published by the Christian Scientists in Boston
The Christian Science Sentinel of Boston announces the establishment by the church's publishing society of a new daily paper to be known as the Christian Science Monitor. The announcement in part is as follows:
"The current of human thought is setting in the direction of that which alone is real — the good that men do, not the evil. It will be the mission of the Monitor to publish the real news of the world in a clean, wholesome manner, devoid of all the sensational methods employed by so many papers. There will be no exploitation of illustration.
"The aim of the editors will be to issue a paper which will be welcome in every home where purity and refinement are cherished ideals."
