The Revival is Over, But Don't Quit Now

Iowa, 1912

M. E. Church Notes

Regular preaching services next Sunday morning and evening.

Don't quit now that the revival is over. This is just the time to begin. That splendid audience Sunday morning was an inspiration to the pastor.

About thirty of the young people of the Epworth League were delightfully entertained at the home of the League president, Miss Dena Merrick, on Tuesday evening.

We are reliably informed that Mr. Heyl has voluntarily discontinued the use of his liquor permit. This is a move in the right direction and will certainly meet with the approval of the best people of the community.

It is said that the "proof of the pudding is in the eating." Judged by this standard the goodly number receiving baptism and uniting with the various churches proves that the recent revival campaign was a great success.

The body becomes strong by proper food and exercise. What is true of the body is true of the Lord. If you wish to be strong of soul see the means of Grace. Do something. The regular church services will help you and you can help them.
