Rev. Harry B. Knowles, Leading Evangelist, Coming

Cedar Rapids, Iowa, 1921

EVANGELIST COMING TO FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH

The First Christian church has obtained the Rev. Harry B. Knowles of Little Rock, Ark., for a series of evangelistic sermons beginning March 29. Mr. Knowles is one of the leading evangelists in the Christian church. As a result of his labors at Enid, Okla., the membership was increased four hundred. A series of meetings at Kansas City added more than five hundred to the church. The local church has obtained Mr. Knowles because he understands the problems of city life, and preaches the gospel in terms of today without resorting to the sensational methods of the professional evangelist.

At a meeting in the parlors of the local church Wednesday evening the membership completed its organization and will give Mr. Knowles every assistance in this campaign.
