In Memoriam: Little Does Anyone Know Our Sorrow

Indianapolis, 1912

IN MEMORIAM.

IN MEMORIAM — In loving remembrance of Martin E. Barrett, who passed away Jan. 11, 1909. Three sad years he left us, he whom we loved and cherished dear; a bitter grief, a shock severe. Friends may think the wound is healed, but little do they know the sorrow that lies within our hearts concealed. HIS LOVING WIFE, DAUGTHER, MOTHER, SISTER AND BROTHER.

—The Indianapolis Star, January 11, 1912, page 12.

IN MEMORIAM — In loving remembrance of our dear daughter and sister, Emma (Nimx) Crane, who departed this life the 6th day of Feb. 1911. We loved you, dear one, but God loved you more, and called you to Him on that beautiful shore. Day by day our longing grows to have you with us; our consolation, that we all shall meet again. We lost our dear one, one who bore her pain and sorrow with patience. May her soul rest in peace, is the prayer of her parents, sisters and brothers.

IN MEMORIAM — In loving remembrance of Gertrude Grothe, who died Feb. 11, 1889.
She is gone, but not forgotten;
Never shall her memory fade.
Sweetest thoughts shall ever linger
Round the grave where she is laid.
FROM HER DAUGHTER, MRS. ANNA BURK.

IN MEMORIAM — In loving remembrance of David Bristow, who died five years ago the 10th: Gone, but not forgotten. One who loved him. CALVE MOWWE.

—The Indianapolis Star, February 11, 1912, page 21.
