For All Religious Sects: Big Temple to be Built

Chicago, 1920

WORLD MOVES SLOWLY AFTER ALL

The above temple which is to be built in Chicago presents what is declared to be the first original idea in architecture since the 13th century -- rather a surprising fact in view of the speed with which the world has progressed in other lines. It is to be built of terra cotta and will have a wonderfully transparent dome, which, when lighted at night, can be seen for many miles. The edifice when finished will be about 45 feet in diameter and 380 feet high. It is to have nine doors -- always open -- and is intended for all religious sects.
