Did Mr. Moody teach the doctrine of "sinless perfection" or "perfect love," or did he believe and teach that a Christian is "a sinner saved by grace"? — (Rev.) THOS. F. MARSHALL, Ironton, Mo.
Mr. Moody was never a perfectionist. He believed emphatically in God's power to save even to the uttermost, but so far as our knowledge extends he never advocated such an idea as "sinless perfection" or "perfect love" in this world.
