A very entertaining program of war songs has been arranged by Professor Hopkins for the entertainment to be given at the Town Hall on the evening of Decoration Day by the boy choir of Grace Church. The veterans are to be present in a body. The full program is as follows:
Jamaica Post, G. A. R., has accepted an invitation to be present. Tickets at 50 cents may be purchased of members of the choir. Friends of the choir who have war souvenirs or trophies are invited to lend them for the purpose of decorating the hall.—The Long Island Farmer, Jamaica, NY, May 10, 1895, p. 8.
