On September 30th last a Sunday School was organized at Dunton, and for three weeks the school met in the depot building, and the church services were held at the residence of S. G. Cozine. The society organized as the First Congregational society of Dunton. Lots were purchased on the corner of Van Wyck avenue and Broadway, upon which a chapel costing $3,000 has been erected. The Sunday School has 125 members. On Sunday evening the Rev. James G. Roberts, of Brooklyn, administered the sacrament and gave the right hand of fellowship to thirty persons who joined the society as charter members.
