New York, 1895
Bishop McDonnell of this Catholic diocese has made arrangements to start for Rome on Saturday. He will be accompanied by his private secretary, Father Mitchell. It will be his first visit to the Pope since his consecration as Bishop three years ago. Each Bishop is expected to go to Rome at least once in ten years to submit a report on the condition of his diocese.
